What an amazing place to live.  Parks. Trails. Skiing in the heart of the city.  Wild animals roaming. The huge Chugach State Park always in sight. Over the years our urban entertainment opportunities have expanded to more than we have time to enjoy.  And we’re still pretty close to the rest of Alaska.

The things that really set us apart from other cities are fortunately relatively cheap to maintain and improve.  We should focus on what makes us special.  For ongoing prosperity, Anchorage must be more than just a cheap place to sleep.  Job creation and economic growth require that we continue to be a great place to live.

  • Protect what makes Anchorage unique.

  • Don’t cut the flowers.
